Setting up a “Cognitive” enriched environment will enable your toddler to learn more. When setting up your playtime/learning space, remember to use defining space dividers such as; a child’s carpet to identify their space or a bookcase to provide a “faux” wall or simply block off the area with an existing piece of furniture. This island of learning will express to your child that they are valued and encouraged to learn.
