Share-A-Shirt Project is a collaboration project of Victory Ortigas Sunday and Tuesday groups, but is open to accept donations in the form of shirts or cash from other groups and individuals.
The goals of the project are:
1) to share blessings to 55 chosen young beneficiaries in Manila Boys Town (age 4-18) who are under the Martial Arts program, in the form of 2nd-hand shirts from Victory Group members and other donors.
2) to maximize unutilized resources especially that we have a lot of spare clothes that we haven’t been using regularly but are still highly usable by other people.
3) to develop interpersonal relationships with the children and expose the VG members to the group for future possible immersions.
4) to tap on individual talents of VG members for the success of the event (i.e. tshirt designing, project management, hosting, emc.)
5) to launch the pilot project of the two groups and serve as a guide for future initiatives that the project will undertake.
