We’ve heard it countless times — motherhood is the best yet toughest job in the world. Working moms, work at home moms, stay at home moms all have one thing in common, the work does not end. Our motherhood gig runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with no downtimes nor vacation or sick leaves. And yet we do it tirelessly with smiles on our faces because we also have great perks: our kiddos’ unlimited smiles and kisses.

But then, once a year, every second Sunday in May, us Moms get our own day. If we’re lucky enough to have a sweet husband/partner and mature enough kids, then we might get our own “me” day when we’re free to do whatever we want. And while a free day and gifts might sound like heaven, on the other hand, what’s stopping us moms to treat ourselves? If we celebrate career milestones with a treat (or by splurging on some new shoes or that new lipstick), then why not commemorate another year of surviving motherhood with a bit of online shopping and maybe a treat or two? Because we sure as heck deserve it.

So here you go mamas. We’ve rounded up a few of our online stores for your online shopping pleasure. Most of these shops’ feeds are beautiful enough that just browsing through is a treat on its own. But we do recommend getting a treat or two just for yourself (just this day in May, because we spend on our kids and partners enough on the other 364 days of the year). Happy Mother’s Day!

For the makeup loving mamas:

Upgrade your look this Mother’s day with a lip and cheek tint or matte lipstick or both. These local makeup brands offer a wide range of easy-to-use makeup products at affordable price points — perfect for the busy, money-savvy mama. We recommend:

Cloud Cosmetics: We love their Honestly Matte Liquid Rouge Lipsticks — comfortable yet transfer-proof liquid lipsticks so no lippie transfers to our kiddos! Sunday Chill is perfect for low key everyday looks.

Ellana Minerals: We love their pressed mineral foundation — so easy to use and covers everything, plus its good for the skin too. We also love their Lip in Luxe lip and cheek tints, which function as a cheek tint and life-proof matte lipstick in one — perfect for mamas who can only spend a minute or two on their makeup. And take note, Ellana’s makeup line is safe to use for pregnant and breastfeeding moms.

Colourette: We love their Coloursnaps — if matte is not your thing then this easy-to-use cream makeup in a tin that can be used for blush, eyeshadow, and lip color will be your best friend (check our Milk and Beachy). Another winner multi-tasking product is the Colourtint line — liquid, oil-based tints that can also be used as blush, eyeshadow and lip color that comes in a wide range of colors and finishes, so you’re guaranteed to find your perfect match (we love Zola and Evee).

Missed us? 💕 See you on Saturday. 😉 #Coloursnaps 📸 @deniseochoa

Happy Skin: Every Happy Skin Product we’ve tried has been a hit for us, so it’s quite hard to list our favorites (because we love everything). But here’s us trying to do it just for you:

The Kiss-Proof Lip & Cheek Tint does not dry our lips like other tints, plus the Hello Kitty and My Melody packaging appeals to the 90’s kid in us.

The Shut Up & Kiss Me Matte Liquid Lippie is the most comfortable and moisturizing matte lippie we’ve tried, plus it doesn’t flake even if reapplied throughout the day.

The At Long Lash Mascara is perfect for dress-up days, plus with its special bristle-free wand, we won’t poke our eyes out even with a toddler in the room.

For the shoe-loving mamas:

Splurge on a new pair of shoes this Mother’s Day. These shoe stores offer comfortable, stylish, and durable pairs perfect for every mama’s ootd.

Renegade Folk: We think Get Good’s bows gives it enough personality and goes well with jeans, skirts, dresses and basically anything. Plus, as they proudly say and as we’ve learned, all their shoes are mom-proof.

A busy week calls for some sturdy (and equally pretty) slip-ons. #ownyourstep

Accessories4MeAndMom: Their Capistrano brogues are perfect for any stylish mama that’s looking for comfortable yet chic footwear.

Concept Meraki: We love their block sandals and slip-ons that are perfect with slacks and dresses on dress up days.

For the bag-loving mamas:

This Mother’s Day, treat yourself to a new bag — not a diaper bag but hopefully one that still fits your mommy and baby essentials and yet stylish enough to take every everywhere you go.

Costal Bags: Their buttery-soft leather and chic bags can fit your laptop, makeup kit, baby’s diapers, and baby bottles all in one go. Their Brooklyn bag is the perfect carry-all for the mom who packs her house and more.

NiQua: NiQua’s leather bags are another favorite for a lot of moms, and for good reason too! Aside from their stylish, readily-available models, they also offer moms the option to customize their totes — from the size, straps, color, and even monogram.

ALT Manila: Moms who find leather bags a bit hard to maintain (think kiddie spills and kalat — eep!) will love ALT Manila’s weather-proof and water-proof bags. We love their New York, which is big enough to fit everything. Plus, it can be worn as a cross-body bag and a backpack — so what’s not to love?

Our best selling @altmanila bag ❤ Thank you, Ms. Jhenny 😊
