Jelly Treasure Hunt

0

This activity is viscid and clammy. Perfect for outdoors but watch out because insects might join you as well because of the sweets produced by jellies. Treasure hunt ideas that your kids will surely love!

What you need:

    • large bowl or other container
    • jelly packets, or a jar of jelly

What to do:

1. Find 50 packets of cheapest jelly around you.
2. Break the jelly into pieces. Kids will love doing it.
3. Put enough water in a bowl once all the jellies are broken up.
4. Mix together the water and jelly and have the kids add the treasure which can be plastic lizards, snakes, spiders or marbles.
5. Leave to set. It may take overnight for the jelly to set as a large bowl may not fit in the fridge.
5. Set aside for overnight.

Once done setting, let the kids dig and hunt the treasures!
Children love to see the toys through the jelly and squish the jelly in their fingers.
