Toddler

Children from age 1 to 2 years old are considered as toddlers. During this period, children will make huge developments physically, emotionally and socially. Motor skills like walking alone, kicking a small ball, using a spoon and cup are developed by the toddler years. It is also during this stage when the child begins to talk, recognize pictures and respond to commands. Toddlers also learn how to interact with the people around them, imitating behavior, recognizing themselves in a mirror, and play by themselves. As they age, toddlers will develop the skills they need to be independent.
