Bellas Artes Projects is pleased to invite you to a children’s workshop based on our current exhibition, “Busis Ibat Ha Kanayunan (Voices from the Hinterlands)” by Cian Dayrit. Acclaimed comic artist Manix Abrera will facilitate a kid-friendly workshop on storytelling.
This workshop is free and open to children aged 7-12.
Slots are limited to 15 children.

Manuel “Manix” Abrera graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. His comic strip Kikomachine runs from Monday to Saturday in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and currently appears in twelve book compilations published by Visprint. Abrera’s webcomic News Hardcore! appears weekly on GMA News Online. He also has wordless graphic novels titled “12” and “14”. He has won the National Book Awards for his books “14” (2015) and News Hardcore: Hukbong Sandatahan ng Kahaggardan (2016).
