Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz shared on Instagram a beautiful family photo taken after she gave birth to her second child with actor Marco Alcaraz. In her blog www.laraquigaman.com, she passionately shared about her journey in this second and unexpected pregnancy.
Lara and Marco have been wanting a second baby since their son, Noah, turned three years old. Now, their son is already five years old and excited as he takes up a new role as a ‘kuya’ to her younger brother. According to Lara, they have been prepping Noah. Lara is quite worried and promised to do her best to not let Noah feel left out while she takes care of his younger sibling.
As shared in her personal blog, Lara narrated that during the dawn of January 31, 2018 (3:30 am) she awoke from a dream of having another baby boy. Out of instinct, she took a home pregnancy test, which revealed a positive result.
Lara was surprised with the result and cried. She cried not because she did not want it, but because she was not expecting it. The spouses have been waiting for a second child for a few years now. Finally, the long wait is over!
During her pregnancy, Lara shared that she had been so lazy and irritable. Of course, this is not uncommon among pregnant women because of all the hormonal changes happening inside their bodies.
Finally, on September 17, 2018, Lara gave birth to their second child via C-section at the Makati Medical Center Hospital. Their second child is named Tobias Nolan. Tobias means ‘God is good’ and Nolan means ‘champion’.
Congratulations to Marco, Lara, and Noah! Welcome, little Tobias Nolan! We are all excited to see you!
