Beautiful decorations do not need to be difficult. Here’s a simple way to make embossed foil decorations. Use them on your folders, cards, picture frames or book covers for something unique and new.
Don’t limit your boys. Let them make foil embossed fish and dragons too.
What you need:
- Foil
- Pen (works best if pen is empty)
- Scissors
- Glue
What to do:
- Turn the shiny side down and draw your picture either with an empty pen or a chopstick. *Note that the thickness of the tips will make a difference. Use that difference to detail your picture.
- Press hard enough to make a marking but take care not to tear the foil.
- Turn over your foil and look at the embossed image.
- Cut around your picture.
- Now you can glue it to your folder or on a card.
