Kids are fond of making gifts for their parents and other older people who are special to them. Let your kids enjoy making gifts that will surely delight the person they are giving to!
What you need:
• powdered laundry detergent
• white craft glue
• water
• large container
• food coloring
What to do:
1. Put about one cup of water in a container.
2. Mix it with glue and food coloring until thick.
3. Add one tablespoon with the powdered laundry detergent at a time until liquid becomes jiggly. Don’t add to much laundry detergent because it can be very absorbent.
4. Thicken it some more by continue playing it.
Store the non-stick dough at room temperature in an air tight container or in a sealed bag.
Remember to put the dough away when kids are finished and don’t let it dry on the furniture or carpet. Experiment different laundry detergents. Some laundry detergents will work better than others. So collect few samples from friends or neighbors before you begin. You’ll be amazed by the different results depending on the formula and additives.
Detergents are not edible so don’t leave your kids with these materials!
