If it is not the season to plant, you are not out of luck. Take a zip lock bag, wet paper towel and green bean seeds. Place the wet paper towel at the bottom of the zip lock, place the beans in the zip lock, seal 3/4 of the way shut, and then tape it in a window that receives sun. Watch what the beans do as they grow in the bag.
