Ask her questions that need more than a yes or no answer. Asking questions such as, “What was the best part of the play date?” or “What was your favorite game at the park?” Although it may be a challenge for your child to answer these questions, consistently asking in these ways will start to increase her vocabulary and in depth conversation.
